Cocaine Delivery, Battery On Officers: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter
Deputies reported an indecent exposure arrest near Antioch and a boating under the influence arrest on Nippersink Lake.
LAKE COUNTY, IL — Cocaine delivery, battery on police officers and vehicle burglary charges were among the entries in the Lake County Sheriff’s Office’s latest weekly arrest summary.
The following information covers Sept. 28 through Oct. 4 and was provided by the sheriff’s office.
As with any arrest press release, Sheriff Idleburg reminds the community these are alleged criminal charges, and those named in the release have not yet been convicted. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Jordan M. Sartin, 31, of the 800 block of West Greenwood Avenue, Waukegan, was arrested Sept. 28, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, on a warrant for criminal damage to property. Sartin was released pending trial. A court date was listed for 9 a.m. Oct. 29, in courtroom T020.

NO DRIVER’S LICENSE
Yuval D. Garcia-Cruz, 20, of the 4000 block of North Kenosha Road, Beach Park, was arrested Sept. 28, at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, and charged with driving without a driver’s license. Garcia-Cruz was released pending trial. The case was assigned to branch court.
COCAINE DELIVERY AND POSSESSION
Jose Banuelos Delatorre, 72, of the 1300 block of Wentworth Drive, Fox Lake, was arrested Sept. 28, at Route 22 and Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, and charged with delivery of cocaine and possession of cocaine. Banuelos Delatorre was released pending trial. A court date was listed for 9 a.m. Oct. 27, in courtroom T020.
FORGERY WARRANT
A warrant for Reginald J. Tolbert Jr., 33, of the 16700 block of Maple Street, South Holland, was obtained Sept. 30, for forgery in connection with an incident in the 34700 block of North Route 45, unincorporated Lake Villa. Detention and court information were listed as undetermined.
SEX OFFENDER ADDRESS WARRANT
A warrant for Valerie Sandoval Carey, 56, of the 5900 block of 50th Avenue, Kenosha, Wisconsin, was obtained Sept. 30, for failure to report a change of address as a sex offender. The incident location was listed as the 0-100 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Waukegan. Detention and court information were listed as undetermined.
RETAIL THEFT AND CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Luis A. Perez Romero, 32, of the 0-100 block of North Lewis Avenue, Waukegan, was arrested Sept. 30, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, on a warrant for retail theft and criminal damage to property. Perez Romero was released pending trial. A court date was listed for 9 a.m. Oct. 8, in courtroom C207.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
Surgene J. Cabell, 37, of the 3900 block of Foxglove Drive, Zion, was arrested Sept. 30, in the 39000 block of North Sheridan Road, Beach Park, and charged with criminal trespass to a residence. Cabell was released pending trial. A court date was listed for 8:45 a.m. Oct. 21, in courtroom C207.
VEHICLE BURGLARY
Julian Nava, 21, of the 300 block of North Avenue, Highwood, was arrested Sept. 30, in the 14000 block of West Rockland Road, Green Oaks, and charged with burglary to a motor vehicle. Nava was released pending trial. A court date was listed for 1:30 p.m. Nov. 25, in courtroom T020.
SEX OFFENDER ACT WARRANT
Brandon D. Lopez, 41, of the 600 block of South Genesse Street, Waukegan, was arrested Oct. 1, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, on a warrant for violating the Sex Offender Act. Lopez was released pending trial. A court date was listed for 9 a.m. Oct. 20, in courtroom T510.

Gerardo Castrejon, 42, of the 26100 block of Spring Grove Road, unincorporated Antioch, was arrested Oct. 1, in the same block and charged with disorderly conduct, indecent exposure and criminal trespass to a residence. REVOKED LICENSE, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
Charles A. Bryant, 65, of the 2700 block of 24th Street, Kenosha, Wisconsin, was arrested Oct. 1, at Dilleys Road and Nations Drive, Gurnee, and charged with aggravated driving while license revoked, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and improper transportation of cannabis. Cody C. Powell, 31, of the 2600 block of North Butrick Street, Waukegan, was arrested Oct. 2, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. Meghan N. Jessop, 41, of the 23200 block of North Birchwood Lane, unincorporated Deerfield, was arrested Oct. 2, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, on a warrant for violating an order of protection.
