Cocaine, Heroin Busts Made In Fox Lake: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

ARRESTS

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF COCAINE

• Shiane M. Carter, 25, of the 400 block of Filweber Court, Antioch, is accused of unlawful possession of cocaine, unlawful possession of heroin, fleeing/eluding, and was arrested June 24 at Grand and Hawthorn avenues, Fox Lake. They were released and assigned a court date of July 24.
• Londale T. Hall, 31, of the 800 block of S. MLK Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of unlawful possession of cocaine, resisting arrest, and was arrested June 24 at Grand and Hawthorn avenues, Fox Lake. He was released and assigned a court date of July 18.

THEFT

• Jennifer R. Stiemke, 36, of the 4600 block of W. Lakeshore Drive, McCullum Lake, is accused of theft, criminal trespass to property, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested June 25 in the 34700 block of N. Decorah Avenue, Ingleside. She was released and assigned a court date of July 9.
• Kahdijah D. Terry, 30, of the 2700 block of Congress Parkway, Chicago, is accused of theft, resisting a peace officer, obstructing a peace officer, obstructing identification, no driver's license, and was arrested June 27 in the 20500 block of N. Rand Road, Deer Park. They were released and assigned a court date of July 29.

VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Deserey E. Motyka, 27, of the 38000 block of N. Russell Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of violating an order of protection, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and was arrested June 25 in the 38000 block of Russell Avenue, Beach Park. They were released and assigned a court date of July 10.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Jose R. Mercado, 24, of the 38200 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, improper transportation of cannabis, attempted possession of a controlled substance, child endangerment, and was arrested June 25 at Sheridan Road and Greenwood Avenue, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 21/
• Jorge H. Pinto, 39, of the 3700 block of W. 69th Place, Chicago, is accused of DUI alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested June 25 in the 43100 block of Route 41, Wadsworth. He was released and assigned a court date of July 24.
• Christian A. Garcia-Paredes, 25, of the 700 block of Treeview Lane, Round Lake Park, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested June 29 at Route 59 and Highwoods Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 7.
• Trujilo Beltran Pablo, 36, of the 0-100 block of N. Victory Street, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, no driver's license, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested June 29 at Route 45 and Gages Lake Road, unincorporated Grayslake. They were released and assigned a court date of July 31.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED/SUSPENDED

• Baldomero E. Vela, 44, of the 1900 block of Walnut Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license revoked, no insurance, suspended registration, and was arrested June 25 at Wadsworth Road and Gabriel Avenue, Beach Park. They were released following their arrest.
• Jocelyn Hernandez, 20, of the 1100 block of Indiana Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested June 25 at Chaney and Coolidge avenues, Beach Park. She was released following her arrest.

RETAIL THEFT

Dontrell D. Graise, 19, of the 10100 block of Chaplin Avenue, Beach Park, had a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested June 27 in the 10100 block of Chaplin Avenue, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 12.

RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

Ryan O. Irving, 40, of the 8600 block of Kedvale Street, Skokie, had a warrant out of Cook County for resisting a peace officer, and was arrested June 28 in the 200 block of Water Street, Waukegan. A future court date in Cook County was to be determined at the time of the report.

OPERATING A WATERCRAFT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

Thomas M. Nowotarski, 56, of the 8300 block of Cottonwood Court, Fox Lake, is accused of operating a watercraft under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested June 29 at Bluff Lake. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 7.
