Israel Graduates From University of Vermont
Leah Israel, of Deerfield, graduated Summa Cum Laude from UVM with a bachelor's in Environmental Sciences. UVM President Suresh Garimella conferred degrees on an estimated 3,383 graduates at the university's 222nd Commencement ceremony.

Haffary Named To Hamilton College Spring 2023 Dean's List
Yasin Haffary, of Deerfield, has been named to the Dean's List at Hamilton College for the spring 2023 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have carried a course load of four or more graded credits throughout the semester and earned an average GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale. Haffary, a May graduate, majored in biology at Hamilton.

Deerfield Student Makes Carthage College Dean's List For Spring 2023
Daniel Jaworski, of Deerfield, has been named to the Carthage College Dean's List for the Spring 2023 term. Dean's List honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 12 letter-graded credits in a given semester.

Shaffer Named To College of Charleston Dean's List
Micah Shaffer, of Deerfield, was named to the College of Charleston Spring 2023 Dean's List. Shaffer is majoring in Art History. To quality for Dean's List (Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.600 or higher and complete a minimum of 14 semester hours.

Storti Graduates From UW-Whitewater
Kelly Storti, from Deerfield, earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at spring commencement, held May 13, 2023. More than 1,500 students crossed the stage to receive their degrees at the ceremony, held at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center. Storti graduated with the following degree: Communication - Master of Science
