Ohio Wesleyan Student Green Presents Research at Science Symposium

Hannah Green, of Deerfield, was among the student-scientists presenting original research at Ohio Wesleyan University's 31st annual Patricia Belt Conrades Summer Science Research Symposium. Green presented "GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) Acceleration of Machine Learning Inference at the Large Hadron Collider CMS Experiment" conducted at Purdue University. Green is an Astrophysics major and Computer Science and Mathematics minor. The university's Sept. 28 symposium featured more than 40 OWU students discussing their original research and answering questions at the two-hour event.
