Augustana College's Fall Semester Dean's List Announced

Augustana College announced more than 1,100 students were named to the Dean's List for the 2020-21 fall semester. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term. The following local students have been named to the dean's list.

• Abigail Grafe, of Deerfield. Grafe is majoring in Elementary Education
• Benjamin Grafe, of Deerfield. Grafe is majoring in Communication Studies.

Ransom Coffeen Deerfield Named to Dean's List at Grove City College

Ransom Coffeen, from Deerfield, a freshman Political Science major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean's List with Distinction for the Fall 2020 semester. Ransom is a 2020 graduate of Christian Heritage Academy and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Coffeen (Therese) from Deerfield. Students eligible for the Dean's List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean's List with Distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the Dean's List with High Distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.

Will Carona Makes Ohio University Fall 2020 Dean's List

Ohio University College of Business student Will Carona, from Deerfield, has been named to Ohio's Fall 2020 Dean's List. More than 8,400 students qualified for the fall semester 2020 Dean's List at Ohio University, including main and regional campuses.

Deerfield High Grad Named To Dean's List At University of Minnesota

Miles Powell, of Deerfield, made the dean's list for the fall 2020 semester with a GPA of 3.89 at the University of Minnesota- Minneapolis (Twin Cities). He is a junior studying History, Asian and Middle Eastern studies (Chinese Language), and Military Leadership.

Hudson Earns Perfect GPA, Makes Dean's List At Liberty University

Brianna Hudson, of Deerfield, earned a perfect 4.0 GPA for Fall semester 2020 and was named to the Dean's List at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. She was part of the Honors Program at Liberty University. Hudson is a 2020 graduate of Christian Heritage Academy in Northfield, where she was the Soli Deo Gloria Award winner, CHA's highest award for graduating seniors.
