Company makes break time a time for doing good deeds

With all the extra "things" that need to be done during the holidays, it can be challenging to find the time to do a good deed that can help Veterans in need.

Lincolnwood Illinois based URB, Inc. shared photos and a video with the United Relief Foundation on how they are in the 'Tis the Season of Service spirit by making break time a time for doing good deeds in the service of those who served this holiday season.

The photo is of a recent work break where some of URB’s staff were joined by URB, Inc. president Brian Urbanowski and URB Remodeling Manager Remi Taylor in putting together personal hygiene care kits as part of United Relief Foundation’s ‘Tis the Season of Service campaign.

"I'm hopeful by sharing stories like URB will give others ideas how they can fit doing a good deed, for any charitable organization, into their hectic day," comments United Relief Foundation president Frank Salato. "Today is a good day to do a good deed that will help our Veterans in need know they have not been forgotten and their service has not been forsaken."

Being United In Service, the personal hygiene care kit items donated and assembled by URB will be distributed by the Foundation to homeless Veterans in Cook County Illinois.
