Customer Versus Manager Dispute Leads To Arrest: Riverwoods PD Blotter

During the investigation into the dispute, it was discovered one of the parties had a warrant out of Lake County.

RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

  • Elise Brianna Ashford, 25, of the 500 block of 5th Street, Wilmette, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, and was arrested at 2:31 a.m. May 3, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. She was released and assigned a court date of June 5.
  • Ramiro Garcia Tome, 28, of the 0-100 block of N. Wolf Road, Wheeling, is accused of speeding, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 12:29 a.m. April 27, near Milwaukee Avenue and Chicory Lane. He was released and assigned a court date of May 22.

CUSTOMER/MANAGEMENT DISPUTE

Norman Heydenburg, 60, had a warrant out of Lake County for failure to appear on previous charges, and was arrested at 12:54 p.m. April 26, at a business in the 900 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Police had responded to the business for a customer versus management dispute. During the subsequent investigation, it was discovered Heydenburg had the warrant. He was taken into custody and Lake County Jail.
