D.C. Sarnies Prepares for Final Week

D.C. Sarnies will serve its last meal Feb. 8. It's starting to prep for its final goodbye on its Facebook page.

Owned by Highland Baking Company, the restaurant was originally opened as a testing ground for the bakery’s innovations and to bring what it termed a different type of restaurant to Deerfield.

“Unfortunately, the needs of our bakery customers have changed over the last three years, dictating we test our products in different ways than originally envisioned,” the company wrote on its website.
