DEERFIELD, IL — The Deerfield High School wrestling team earned 4th place the state team competition in Bloomington Saturday.

It was the first ever top four finish for the Warriors, who have had an exceptional all around season, said head coach Marc Pechter.

"The wrestlers really came together and worked as a team to achieve, what at times, looked like an impossible task" competing against the biggest third of schools in the 3A division.
