Deerfield H.S. to Host "Tuned In" - a Benefit Concert

Young musical performers will be showcased while funds will support Skokie-based Response.

Deerfield High School will host the 2015 version of “Tuned In: The Larry Dobkin Talent Showcase” - an annual benefit show for a North Shore-based non-profit featuring modern dance, jazz piano, original songs, choraling and alternative rock - all performed by young, local artists - in a show emceed by Chicago comedy icon Aaron Freeman.

The show will benefit Response, an innovative teen program at Jewish Child & Family Services, and take place on March 15 at 4 p.m. in the Deerfield High School auditorium, 1959 N. Waukegan Road.

“For the past eight years, Tuned In has showcased the finest young performers in Chicagoland as a way of pointing out to our staunch supporters how brilliant and creative teens can be,” said Robin Stein, Director of Response. “I can’t think of a more appropriate way of fundraising for a teen program like Response than letting teens speak directly to donors through their art.”
