Deerfield Named No. 17 Best High School In Illinois: Ranking

DEERFIELD, IL — Deerfield High School is one of the best public high schools in the state, according to recently released rankings. Niche.com announced its 2022 rankings of the best public high schools in the country.

Deerfield is ranked No. 17 in Illinois.

According to Niche, Deerfield High School has 1,588 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 13 to 1. According to state test scores, 74 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 77 percent in reading.
