DHS Boys Basketball Loses Two Nail Biters This Weekend
The Deerfield High School varsity team lost by one point to Niles North and two to Lakes.

The Warrior boys basketball team had two very close games this weekend, but fell just short of the win each time.
On Friday, Deerfield High School lost 56 to 55 against Niles North High School. The next day, they lost 58 to 56 to Lakes Community High School.
Friday, the team shot a 52 percent field goal average. Samuel Kuznetsky, who had a season high 21 points, made 60 percent of his field goals. Michael Alfieri, who had 12 points, made 72 percent of his field goals.

Saturday, the team stood out for its three-point game, making an average of 47 percent of their shots. Eric Porter, who had 19 points overall, made four of his seven three-point shots. Jack Gurvey, who totaled 13 points, made half of his six three-point attempts.
