Driver With Burglary Warrant Nabbed In Buffalo Grove After Fleeing Cops In Riverwoods

The Chicago resident also had a warrant out of Chicago for domestic battery.

RIVERWOODS, IL — A Chicago man with warrants for a burglary parole violation and domestic battery was arrested in Buffalo Grove after fleeing police in Riverwoods last month. Ronnie L. Easterling, 38, of the 700 block of E. 91st Street, Chicago, was charged with fleeing a police driver and driving without a valid driver's license following the incident on May 25.

According to police, Easterling was stopped at around 5:50 a.m. in the 900 block of Deerfield Parkway in Buffalo Grove after fleeing Riverwoods officers at Deerfield Road and Milwaukee Avenue. Police in Riverwoods said Easterling appeared to be asleep in his car at a stop light.

Easterling was taken to the Lake County Jail after he was found to be wanted on an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant for a burglary parole violation and a domestic battery warrant out of Chicago. He is due back in court on July 2.
