Driving 101 MPH Among Charges For Drunken Hawthorn Woods Man: Blotter

Katie Shapiro, 18, of the 300 block of E. Russet Way, Palatine, is accused of aggravated speeding (91 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested April 4 at Route 12 and Long Grove Road, Deer Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

IDENTITY THEFT

Lorenzo D. Lamas, 26, of the 700 block of N. Coolidge Avenue, Palatine, had a warrant for aggravated identity theft, and was arrested April 4 in the 800 block of Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of April 19 was assigned.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Porfirio Cortes Reyes, 27, of the 200 block of Moon Rover Drive, Round Lake, is accused of no driver's license, and was arrested April 4 at N. Fairfield and Ivanhoe roads, unincorporated Mundelein. Bond was set at $1,500.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Donyale O. Rogers, 23, of the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of disorderly conduct, and was arrested April 4 in the 39100 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of April 27 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Frank R. Pecoraro, 31, of unincorporated Spring Grove, is accused of aggravated domestic battery, and was arrested April 6 in unincorporated Spring Grove. Bond was set at $150,000 and a court date of April 27 was assigned.
• Mhalik K. Coleman, 23, of Park City, had a warrant for domestic battery, and was arrested April 8 in Libertyville. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of April 13 was assigned.

RESISTING/OBSTRUCTING A PEACE OFFICER

Jeffrey A. Peters, 50, of the 38700 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of resisting/obstructing a peace officer, and was arrested April 6 in Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of May 11 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Ricardo Ramirez, 19, of the 2300 block of Hunters Lane, Round Lake Beach, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested April 6 at Wildwood and Park drives, unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of May 18 was assigned.
• Craig A. Nielsen, 49, of the 15200 block of W. Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, leaving the scene of an accident, no insurance, and had a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested April 7 at Delany Road and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $250,000 and a court date of April 12 was assigned.
• Zachary T. Brown, 29, of the 0-100 block of Whitman Terrace, Hawthorn Woods, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated speeding (101 mph in a 35 mph zone), and was arrested April 8 at Route 120 and Battershall Road, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of May 9 was assigned.
• Carlos Ruiz, 19, of the 1900 block of Herbert Drive, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested April 9 at Sheridan and Yorkhouse roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of May 11 was assigned.

• Joseph Rice Marshall, 36, of the 10100 block of Winthrop Avenue, unincorporated Zion, is accused of battery, and was arrested April 8 in the 33200 block of N. Greentree Road, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of May 9 was assigned.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED/SUSPENDED

• Daniel Cruz, 23, of the 1700 block of W. Estes Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving while license revoked, aggravated speeding (84 mph in a 45 mph zone) and had a warrant for aggravated driving under the influence, when arrested April 7 at Fairfield Road and Pond Shore Drive, unincorporated Wauconda. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of May 10 was assigned.
• Marshall M. Davidson, 26, of the 3800 block of N. Central Road, Chicago, is accused of driving while license suspended, driving with suspended registration, and had a warrant out of McHenry County for driving while license suspended, when arrested April 10 at Route 12 and Old McHenry Road, North Barrington.

RECKLESS DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM

Thomas J. Walsh, 32, of the 500 block of Gillings Street, Gurnee, had a warrant for reckless discharge of a firearm, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested April 8 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $500,000 and a court date of April 13 was assigned.

OPERATING A COMMERCIAL VEHICLE WITHOUT A CDL

Adrian Dascal, 31, of Federal Way, Washington, is accused of operating a commercial vehicle without a commercial driver's license, overweight on registration, and was arrested April 8 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $1,500.
