Set in the dining room of a typical well-to-do household, the play is an in-depth portrait of a vanishing species: the upper-middle-class WASP. The actors portray a wide variety of characters, from little boys to stern grandfathers, giggling teenage girls to Irish housemaids.
THE DINING ROOM will be performed at 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays, March 16, 17, 23, and 24; and at 3pm on Sundays, March 18 and 25. Performances will be held at Estonian House, located at 14700 Estonian Lane in Riverwoods. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.
