Fair Trade: What It Is and Why We Should Be Concerned-- An AAUW Program
Jan Rodriguez of the North Suburban Fair Trade Network will speak on March 14 at 7 pm about her work to promote Fair Trade.
On Tuesday, March 14 at 7:00 pm at The Patty Turner Center, 375 Elm St., Deerfield, the Deerfield Area Branch of the American Association of University Women will host Jan Rodriguez of the North Suburban Fair Trade Network, an affiliate of Chicago Fair Trade. Jan will speak about her work to promote Fair Trade and its principles of environmental sustainability, ethical production methods, fair wages, and safe working conditions and the rights of women and children.
