Felon Nabbed For Gun Possession: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A FELON

Kenneth M. Detzner, 27, of the 3800 block of Riverside Drive, Crystal Lake, is accused of aggravated unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, no FOID card, improper transportation of cannabis, suspended registration, and was arrested Sept. 2 at Route 12 and Cuba Road, Lake Zurich. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 9.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Marisol Rivera, 52, of the 4000 block of Butterfield Road, Bellwood, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Sept. 2 at Route 176 and Schanck Road, unincorporated Mundelein. They were released and assigned a court date of Oct. 30.
• Jason Buchanan, 43 of the 800 block of DeKalb Road, Sycamore, is accused of aggravated DUI driving while license suspended, and was arrested Sept. 2 in the 25700 block of W. Cook Avenue, unincorporated Antioch. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 16.
• Charles C. Hansen, 31, of the 400 block of W. Mitchell Court, Arlington Heights, is accused of DUI drugs, no insurance, and was arrested Sept. 3 in the 1000 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue, unincorporated Deerfield. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 9.
• Morgan M. Dawn, 48, of the 28500 block of Lindberg Drive, Barrington, had a warrant for DUI, and was arrested Sept. 3 in the 400 block of Route 22, unincorporated Barrington.
• Eugene A. Kulin, 59, of the 19600 block of Brae Loch Road, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of DUI alcohol, driving while license suspended, suspended registration, and was arrested Sept. 4 at Brae Loch and Atkinson roads, Grayslake. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 9.
• Alejandro Amador, 24, of the 800 block of Richard Brown Boulevard, Volo, is accused of DUI drugs, and was arrested Sept. 5 at Route 60 and Peterson Road, unincorporated Mundelein. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 16.
• Jose A. Munoz-Gallardo, 64, of the 2700 block of Edina Boulevard, Zion, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Sept. 7 at Route 45 and Main Street, Old Mill Creek. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 16.
• Marcus J. Lejsner, 23, of the 400 block of S. Highland Drive, Lakemoor, is accused of DUI drugs, leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested Sept. 8 at Case and Darrell roads, unincorporated Wauconda. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 6.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Jose P. Martinez-Morales, 33, of the 6600 block of S. Washtenaw Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested Sept. 2 at Grand Avenue and Rollins Road, Gurnee. He was released following his arrest.
• Jessica A. Stirling, 38, of the 3500 block of Greenwood Avenue, Gurnee, is accused of driving while license suspended, no registration, no insurance, and was arrested Sept. 8 at Route 41 and Kelly Road, Wadsworth. She was released following her arrest.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

• Adam Zamora, Jr., 41, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested Sept. 3 at Gish and Fairbanks avenues, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 9.
• Paula K. Libera, 35, of the 0-100 block of S. Shaddle Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested Sept. 3 at Gish and Fairbanks avenues. She was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 9.

BATTERY

• Jonatan Luna-Carrasco, 29, of the 1100 block of Adams Street, North Chicago, is accused of battery, and was arrested Sept. 4 at the Lake County Jail. He was being held there on other charges and was assigned a court date of Oct. 2.
• Gary A. Thoreson, 38, of Wausaukee, Wisconsin, is accused of aggravated battery, and was arrested Sept. 8 in the 18700 block of W. Gages Lake Road, unincorporated Grayslake. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail and was assigned a court date of Sept. 10.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Richard S. Ross, 66, of the 6600 block of Perry Avenue, Chicago, is accused of disorderly conduct, trespassing, attempted possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Sept. 6 in the 20700 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue, unincorporated Deerfield. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 16.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Carlos Diaz-Bolanos, 35, of the 2100 block of Sherman Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of having no driver's license, suspended registration, and was arrested Sept. 8 at Route 45 and Falling Waters Drive, Lindenhurst. He was released following his arrest.

ASSAULT

Javier Barajas-Ortiz, 49, of the 100 block of N. Saint James Street, Waukegan, is accused of assault, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Sept. 8 at Sheridan and Yorkhouse roads. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 30.
