Fourth Annual Fair Trade Fair to be held Sunday, December 3, 2017

Purchase items from around the world while supporting a living wage at the Fair Trade Fair hosted by the Social Action Committee of NSUC.

On December 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. purchase items from around the world while supporting a living wage at the Fair Trade Fair hosted by the Social Action Committee of North Shore Unitarian Church, 2100 Half Day Road, Deerfield, Illinois 60015

Items for sale include .925 sterling silver jewelry designed and handcrafted by artisans in Bali, Indonesia, equal exchange coffees and teas; chocolates, hand-made items from the central highlands of Guatemala; ornaments and nativities, jewelry, scarves, bags, accessories, sculptures, vases, puzzles, handcrafted accessories, gifts, and home decor ethically sourced from artisans in Colombia and all kinds of gift ideas for your holiday shopping! In addition holiday gift baskets for the local food bank will be available.

Vendors include Maya Works, Gifts of the World (Ten Thousand Villages and Serrv International), Sandpiper Imports, Inc. and the Social Action Committee of North Shore Unitarian Church.

The purpose of the Fair Trade Fair is to provide a place when you can purchase your holiday gifts while supporting the right of people around the world to earn a living wage. Admission is free.
