Great Family Fun! “Cars in the Woods” is Just Around the Corner

Get ready for a unique blend of vintage charm, community spirit, and outdoor fun! The Riverwoods Residents’ Car Show, Cars in the Woods, is rolling in on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Riverwoods Village Hall, 300 Portwine Road.

This family-friendly event promises a fantastic day for car enthusiasts and casual admirers alike. From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the public is invited to enjoy a remarkable display of antique, classic, and specialty cars —all proudly owned by Riverwoods residents.

Event Highlights:

• Live Music by North Shore Line, a seven-piece band playing classic rock favorites
• Dog Adoptions with Orphans of the Storm—meet lovable dogs looking for a forever home
• Food for Sale by Boy Scouts Troop 50—enjoy tasty light fare and support a great cause
• Automodello showcase of premium model cars
• Community Info Tables hosted by the Riverwoods Residents’ Association and Riverwoods Preservation Council

Admission is free, and families are encouraged to enjoy the village playground or bring a picnic—picnic tables will be available. Restrooms will be open inside Village Hall.

Car arrivals begin at 10:00 a.m., with the public display open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
