Harvest Fest Returns To Deerfield In September

The community event, which begins with the Deerfield Farmers Market, will be held on Park Avenue.

DEERFIELD, IL — Mark your calendars for Saturday, Sept. 9, with the return of Harvest Fest. Co-hosted by the Village of Deerfield and Deerfield Bannockburn Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce, the annual event features a full day of activities, according to organizers.

Start the day with the Deerfield Farmers Market, running from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Jewett Park. The market will feature a touch-a-truck event. RC Juggles will also be at the market from 9 a.m. to noon creating free, custom-made balloon art creations and filling Jewett Park with giant bubbles.

Next, head on over to Deerfield Road and Park Avenue, for music, food and fun. Gates open at 5 p.m. for events including a live concert, food vendors, a beer tent and a bags tournament.

West End 40 will be performing from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by 7th Heaven from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Food vendors include Rosebud, Caldwell’s Grille, The Wild Roaster, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Serna's Grill, Mario’s Cart, Da Pizza Dude, and La Humita. Organizers say attendees can bring a chair.
