Boy Clocked Recklessly Driving 98 MPH: Blotter

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Daniel C. Shepard, 23, of the 800 block of Sheridan Road, Winthrop Harbor, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested Dec. 13 in the 37600 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Jan. 6, 2022, was assigned.
• Daniel A. Steele, 27, of the 38000 block of N. DeWoody Road, Beach Park, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving while license suspended, and was arrested Dec. 14 at Sheridan and Yorkhouse roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $250,000 and a court date of Jan. 5, 2022, was assigned.
• Daniel J. Hunt, 29, of the 33200 block of Indian Lane, Unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of having a warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 15 in Unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $20,000 and was assigned a court date of Jan. 27, 2022.
• Luis Maldonado-Juarez, 28, of the 38200 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of having a warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 17 in Beach Park. Bond was set at $52,000 and a court date of Jan. 10, 2022, was assigned.
• Anthony J. Knoth, 26, of the 600 block of Monroe Drive, Lindenhurst, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 18 at Route 59 and Beach Grove Road, Unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 2, 2022, was assigned.
• Darian R. Weeks, 34, of the Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, no driver's license, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 19 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Jan. 26, 2022, was assigned.
• Luis A. Maldonado-Rodriguez, 33, of the 100 block of S. Gretta Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 19 at Sheridan and Blanchard roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 2, 2022, was assigned.
• Maksim G. Mitsko, 35, of the 4600 block of Austin Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 19 at Lake Shore Drive and Timber Lane, Unincorporated Grayslake Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Jan. 26, 2022, was assigned.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Shawn J. Holmes, Jr., 28, of the 3000 block of 27th Street, Zion, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Dec. 14 at Lewis Avenue and Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Kaliyah Amari Banks, 19, of Mt. Plesant, Wisconsin, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Dec. 14 at Green Bay and Townline roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Jose A. Valenzuela, 58, of the 38400 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of having a warrant out of Cook County for driving while license suspended, and was arrested Dec. 15 in Beach Park. Bond was set at $25,000 and future court date in Cook County was to be determined at the time of the report.
• Jose G. Guevara, 30, of the 17500 block of Winnebago Drive, Unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 16 in Unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 3, 2022, was assigned.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON

Jaden C. Hike, 20, of the 10200 block of W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, is accused of unlawful possession of a weapon, aggravated speeding (74 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested Dec. 14 at Lewis Avenue and Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Jose Gutierrez, 50, of Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for domestic battery, and was arrested Dec. 16 in Waukegan. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Jan. 5, 2022, was assigned.
• Luis Ramirez, 21, of Buffalo Grove, is accused of having a warrant for domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, aggravated unlawful possession of a firearm, and was arrested Dec. 17 in Waukegan. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of Jan. 4, 2022, was assigned.
• Garry J. Milem, 39, of Ingleside, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Dec. 19 in Ingleside. Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of Dec. 22 was assigned.

OBSTRUCTING IDENTIFICATION

Donnie W. Epling, 55, of the 31200 block of Route 45, Unincorporated Libertyville, is accused of obstructing identification, obstructing a peace officer, and was arrested Dec. 18 at Route 45 and Casey Road, Unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Jan. 5, 2022, was assigned.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Allan A. Barahana Rodriguez, 18, of the 900 block of Green Bay Road, Waukegan, is accused of no driver's license, and was arrested Dec. 19, at Sheridan and Talmadge Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

SPEEDING

A juvenile boy is accused of aggravated speeding (98 mph in a 45 mph zone), no insurance, reckless driving, and was arrested Dec. 19 at Rollins Road and Drury Lane, Unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $1,500.

ILLEGAL FLASHING

Jesse J. Shattuck-Norton, of the 200 block of Anita Terrace, Antioch, is accused of illegal use of red and white flashing/oscillating lights, and was arrested Dec. 19 at Hunt Club and Kelly roads, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Jan. 26, 2022, was assigned.
