Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

DEERFIELD ARRESTS
IDENTITY THEFT
Deontae L. Lyma is accused of knowingly committing deception (identity theft), and was arrested at 11:59 p.m. Aug. 13.

FORGERY
Barbara Jalisa Jean Northern is accused of forgery, and was arrested at 6:30 p.m. July 10.
INDECENCY
Ignacio Lopez Joya is accused of lewd exposure, and was arrested at 7:33 p.m. July 11.
RIVERWOODS ARRESTS
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL
- Anastacia M. Pearson, 49, of the 7600 block of S. Normal Ave., Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested at 12:48 a.m. Aug. 15 following a traffic stop near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. She was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Waukegan court on Sept. 23.
- Steven J. Neal, 29, of the 6000 block of South Indiana Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of open alcohol, and was arrested at 12:14 a.m. Aug. 22 following a traffic stop on Saunders Road south of Deerfield Road. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Waukegan court on Sept. 23.
RIVERWOODS INCIDENTS
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle theft at 8 a.m. Aug. 16 in the 600 block of Long Cove. At some time after 9 p.m., someone entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway. They removed a pair of sunglasses then apparently used the garage door opener to gain entry to the garage. Once inside the garage they were able to remove a 2019 Porsche that was unlocked and had the fob inside. Another vehicle that was parked inside the garage had been entered but nothing was taken. Investigation continues.
MOTOR VEHICLE BURGLARY
- Police responded to a report of burglary to a motor vehicle at 8 a.m. Aug. 16 in the 600 block of Long Cove. At some time after 9 p.m., someone entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway and rifled the glove box and console. It did not appear that anything was missing at the time of the report. Investigation continues.
- Police responded to the Holiday Inn, 2600 Lake Cook Road, at 8:15 a.m. Aug. 25 for a report of burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred sometime overnight. The rear passenger side-car window was broken out. A fishing rod and a camera were removed.
