Local Girl Competes in National Contest
Elita Ernsteen hopes for top prize in 'Tween Girl Magazine' talent competition.

Elita Ernsteen has been a professional singer and actress for four years which is quite an accomplishment for a seventh grader.
Not only is Elita currently performing in “The Gingerbread House” at the Red Tape Theater in Chicago, she is competing in the online Tween Girl Magazine talent contest. She is in second place at the moment, according to her mother, Stephanie Ernsteen.
Voting continues through the end of the month. Anyone who wants to hear the contestants perform online and cast a ballot can go to the magazine’s website.
