Man Eludes Cops, Flees Accident Scene: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

• A 65-year-old Brooklyn, New York, man is accused of operating a commercial vehicle with a suspended commercial driver's license, and was arrested Dec. 26 at Route 12 and Deer Park Boulevard, Deer Park. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Anthony L. Neal, 49, of the 9900 block of Michigan Boulevard, Beach Park, is accused of driving while license revoked, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 28, 2022, at Edgewood Road and Wilson Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $2,000.
• A 25-year-old Chicago man is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Dec. 28, 2022, in the 30600 block of N. Route 12, Volo. Bond was set at $1,500.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

• Jeffrey Woosley, 31, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of driving with no driver's license, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 26 at Route 173 and Green Bay Road, Zion. Bond was set at $2,000.
• Nicholas S. Campbell, 22, of the 2900 block of Ezra Avenue, Zion, is accused of driving with no driver's license, no insurance, illegal transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Dec. 29, 2022, at Wadsworth Road and Pine Grove Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $2,000.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Alisa L. Gialds, 35, of the 17500 block of W. Woodland Drive, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Dec. 26, 2022, at Route 83 and Arlington Heights Road, Buffalo Grove. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Jan. 6 was assigned.
• Justin M. Lauder, 30, of the 25100 block of W. Lake Shore Drive, Ingleside, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Dec. 30, 2022, in the 25200 block of W. Tier Lane, unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Jan. 25 was assigned.
• Bradley Williamson, 34, of the 5500 block of Route 22, Long Grove, is accused of domestic battery, aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and was arrested Dec. 30, 2022, in the 24400 block of W. Passavant Avenue, unincorporated Round Lake. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Jan. 12 was assigned.
• Rachel K. Michaud, 28, of the 34800 block of N. Forest Avenue, Ingleside, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Dec. 31, 2022, in the 34800 block of N. Forest Avenue, Ingleside. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Jan. 5 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Joel A. Coker, 34, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 27, 2022, in the 25500 block of Route 173, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 6 was assigned.
• Tiffany Garcia, 34, of the 3500 block of S. 2nd Street, Waukegan, had a warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 28, 2022, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Jan. 9 was assigned.
• Luis Johnson, 37, of the 0-100 block of N. Ridgemoor Avenue, Mundelein, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 29, 2022, at Route 60/83 and W. West Shore Drive, unincorporated Mundelein. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Jan. 25 was assigned.
• Erik R. Sesko, 39, of the 36600 block of N. Corona Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa, had a warrant out of Lake County for driving under the influence, and a warrant out of McHenry County for driving while license suspended, and was arrested Dec. 30, in the 36600 block of N. Corona Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $44,000 and a court date of Jan. 4 was assigned.
• Emily N. Auterson, 24, of the 300 block of S. Lakeshore Drive, Mundelein, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 30 at W. Erhart and Gilmer roads, unincorporated Mundelein. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 8 was assigned.
• Valentin Bautista-Hernandez, 20, of the 400 block of Burton Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver's license, and was arrested Dec. 31, 2022, at Green Bay Road and Highland Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 1 was assigned.
• Donald E. Otway, Jr., 34, of the 1800 block of Canterbury Lane, Gurnee, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Jan. 1 in the 800 block of Grand Avenue, Fox Lake. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 18 was assigned.

Alexander Gutierrez, 18, of the 36800 block of N. Magnolia Avenue, unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon, illegal transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Dec. 27, 2022, at Green Bay and Beach roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $350,000 and a court date of Jan. 6 was assigned.

FLEEING TO ELUDE

Matthew Bosque, 27, of the 5400 block of Ebony Court, Gurnee, is accused of aggravated fleeing to elude, unlawful possession of cocaine, driving while license revoked, leaving the scene of an accident, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 27, 2022, at Washington Street and Hunt Club Road, Gurnee. Bond was set at $200,000 and a court date of Jan. 6 was assigned.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO VEHICLE

Nathan A. Vieth, 35, of the 28200 block of Stewart Avenue, unincorporated Spring Grove, is accused of criminal trespass to vehicle, and was arrested Dec. 28, 2022, at Route 59 and Grass Lake Road, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Feb. 6 was assigned.

BATTERY

• Timothy A. Schnaebele, 65, of the 2300 block of W. Park Place, Antioch, had a warrant for aggravated battery, and was arrested Dec. 29, 2022, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of Jan. 5, was assigned.
• Melinda M. West, 59 of the 39000 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of battery, assault, disorderly conduct, resisting a peace officer, had a warrant for disorderly conduct, and was arrested Dec. 29, 2022, in the 39000 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Jan. 9 was assigned.
• Dmarreia D. Page, 22, of the 600 block of Hill Street, Waukegan, had a warrant for aggravated battery, and was arrested Dec. 29, 2022, in the 600 block of Hill Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of Jan. 25 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

• Armando Luna-Bocenegra, 54, of the 100 block of St. James Street, Waukegan, had a warrant for violation of an order of protection, and was arrested Dec. 30, 2022, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of Jan. 24 was assigned.
• Maciej Rydzak, 29, of the 26800 block of Ellen Drive, unincorporated Wauconda, is accused of violation of an order of protection, cyberstalking, and was arrested Dec. 31, 2022, in the 400 block of Route 22, unincorporated Barrington. Bond was set at $75,000 and a court date of Jan. 11 was assigned.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Safya K. McCalla, 34, of the 2200 block of Hermon Avenue, Zion, is accused of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 30, 2022, at 23rd Street and Sheridan Road, Zion. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Feb. 2 was assigned.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Clara A. Freeman, 24, of the 0-100 block of W. Buckingham Drive, Round Lake, is accused of criminal damage to property, and was arrested Dec. 31, 2022, in the 36000 block of N. Route 45, unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Feb. 16 was assigned.

SPEEDING

Joshua M. Harrelson, 24, of the 2200 block of W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, is accused of aggravated speeding (110 mph in a 55 mph zone), and was arrested Jan. 1 at Route 14 and Pepper Road, Lake Barrington. Bond was set at $1,500.
