Alejandro Tapia, 44, of the 2600 block of Gilead Avenue, Zion, had a warrant for forgery, and was arrested Nov. 4 in the 200 block of Water Street, Waukegan.

Carlos E. Medina-Silva, 45, no permanent address, is accused of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting arrest causing injury, trespassing to railway property, and was arrested Nov. 4 at Route 14 and Hart Road, unincorporated Barrington. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report. A court date of Nov. 12 was assigned.

FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER

Ryan M. Shaver, 41, no permanent address, is accused of failure to register as a sex offender, and was arrested Nov. 5 in the 25800 block of N. Midlothian Road, unincorporated Hawthorn Woods. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 4.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Sheri M. Slough, 38, of the 800 block of Golfview Place, Mount Prospect, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Nov. 5 in the 800 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 5.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED/SUSPENDED

  • Dashawna O. Phifer, 43, of the 1600 block of 11th Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license revoked, suspended registration, and was arrested Nov. 6 at Route 45 and Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake. She was released following her arrest.
  • Tasha Byrd, 47, of the 2300 block of 21st Street, Zion, is accused of driving while license revoked, revoked registration, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Nov. 7 at Delany and Yorkhouse roads, unincorporated Waukegan. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 4.

RECKLESS DRIVING

Demarcus R. Maxey, 30, of Chandler, Arizona, is accused of reckless driving, aggravated speeding (92 MPH in a 45 MPH zone), and was arrested Nov. 6 at Route 173 and Hunt Club Road, Old Mill Creek. He was released following his arrest.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY

Danny Rivera, 30, of the 3900 block of Harmony Court, Zion, had a warrant for aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, new charges of obstructing a peace officer, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Nov. 8 at Cypress Drive and Harmony Court, Zion. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 18.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Ruben D. Bastidas-Gil, 30, of the 2100 block of Lorraine Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of having no driver's license, suspended registration, and was arrested Nov. 8 at Yorkhouse and Green Bay roads, Beach Park. He was released following his arrest.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO VEHICLE

Orlando Wilson, 26, no permanent address, had a warrant for criminal trespass to a vehicle, and was arrested Nov. 10 in the 3100 block of Grand Avenue, Waukegan. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of Nov. 12.
