Marshalls Moves From Northbrook To Deerfield

DEERFIELD, IL — Though local shoppers are sure to be sad to see the Northbrook location of Marshalls leaving, they won't have to go too far to find the department store. A new store is opening Thursday at Deerbrook Mall in Deerfield.

The Northbrook location was at 163 Skokie Blvd.

“Our newest store in Deerfield will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend, and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices that Marshalls is known for. Our buyers create a broad and exciting mix that offers exceptional values for the entire family, and we’re excited to bring this experience to a new neighborhood,” said Tim Miner, president of Marshalls, in a news release.

The new store, located at Lake Cook Road and S. Waukegan Road, will have a grand opening celebration from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday. There will be festivities and giveaways, according to the news release.

Marshalls, one of the nation’s leading off-price retailers, has over 1,100 stores currently operating in 48 states, D.C. and Puerto Rico,

“With thousands of new items delivered to our stores every week we know our shoppers will find unbelievable values every time they shop," Miner said.

In celebration of the opening in Deerfield, Marshalls announced it will contribute to the local community by donating $10,000 to Bounce Children’s Foundation.
