Mother Earth Market Set To Return To Ryerson Woods In Riverwoods
The two-day market will feature local artists, makers, vendors and organizations.
RIVERWOODS, IL — Featuring more than 35 local artists and vendors, the annual Mother Earth Market will return next month to the Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods. The two-day market, scheduled for May 11 and 12, will feature and celebrate local artists, makers, vendors and organizations "inspired by Mother Earth and working toward a more sustainable future," organizers said.
Each day of the market will also include family-friendly presentations, demonstrations, outdoor games and activities, yoga, seed planting, and forest bathing.
The market is free and open to the public, with hours set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 11, and noon to 5 p.m. May 12.

"We're so excited for the return of our spring market," said Julia Kemerer, director of arts and administration at Brushwood Center. "This is a weekend full of specialty shopping and art, tons of local talent, and fun activities for the family."
Partner organizations include: Roni Yoga, From Hood to Table, Elawa Farms, Tamales El Guero, and Reciprocal Forest Bathing.
