Multiple Crimes Reported At Jail: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter
Battery, attempted possession of controlled substance, obstructing a correctional officer were among the incidents at the Lake County Jail.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

- William Servin, Jr., 26, of the 800 block of Flossmoor Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of battery, and was arrested April 3 at Lake County Jail. He is being held there on other charges, so there was no bond for this case. A court date of April 11 was assigned.
- Joshua Garcia, 29, of the 1000 block of Main Street, Antioch, is accused of battery, and was arrested April 6 at Lake County Jail. He is being held at the jail on other charges, so no bail was set. A court date of May 9 was assigned.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
- Quenicia I. Swanigan, 25, of the 1500 block of Lorelei Drive, Zion, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested April 3 at 21st Street and Green Bay Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of May 10 was assigned.
- Odalis Rogel, 23, of the 1200 block of Yeoman Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, open transportation of alcohol, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested April 4 at Lewis and Yorkhouse avenues, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of May 10 was assigned.
- Larry R. Barrett, 38, of the 2800 block of 31st Street, Zion, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested April 7 at Green and W. Major avenues, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of May 6 was assigned.
- Guido P. Arquilla, 50, of the 39200 block of N. Shore Avenue, unincorporated Antioch, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested April 8 at Beach Grove and Masaryk roads, Antioch. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of May 10 was assigned.
- Charika N. Wilson, 49, of the 1600 block of Sunset Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated speeding (68 MPH in a 35 MPH zone), no insurance, and was arrested April 9 at Lewis Avenue and Blanchard Road, Waukegan. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of May 10 was assigned.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Elizabeth M. Tiskevich, 32, no permanent address, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, forgery, and was arrested April 4 in the 31200 block of Route 45, unincorporated Libertyville. Bond was set at $350,000 and a court date of May 2 was assigned.
RETAIL THEFT
Christina M. Kalter, 33, no permanent address, had a warrant out of Kenosha County for retail theft, possession of meth, and was arrested April 4 in the 31200 block of Route 45, unincorporated Libertyville. Bond was set at $30,000 and a court date of April 13 was assigned.

ATTEMPTED POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
Mark D. Fine, 22, of the 300 block of Ironwood Drive, Lindenhurst, is accused of attempted possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested April 5 at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $500,000 and a court date of May 3 was assigned.
OBSTRUCTING A CORRECTIONAL OFFICER
Kian Torres, 19, of the 2300 block of University Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of obstructing a correctional officer, and was arrested April 6 at Lake County Jail. There was no bond as they are being held on other charges. A court date of April 21 was assigned.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION BY A FELON
Anthony J. Smith, 31, of the 1700 block of 10th Street, Waukegan, is accused of unlawful possession of ammunition by a felon, and was arrested April 7 in the 11100 block of W. 33rd Street, Beach Park. Bond was set at $250,000 and a court date of April 25 was assigned.
