Multiple DUI Arrests Reported Near Lake Cook Road: Riverwoods PD Blotter

The arrests occurred over the course of several weeks, according to police.

RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

  • Ronnie Earl Doss, 30, of the 15800 block of Peggy Lane in Oak Forest, is accused of speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at 12:55 a.m. May 18, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a June 11 court date.
  • Larry G. Sims, 41, of the 5000 block of Gladys Avenue in Chicago, is accused of speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at 3:45 a.m. May 9, near Lake Cook Road and Portwine Road. He was released and assigned a June 11 court date.
  • Arun Emmanuel, 25, of the 800 block of Niagara Street in Carol Stream, is accused of speeding, improper lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at 3:15 a.m. May 10, near Lake Cook Road and Portwine Road. He was released and assigned a June 11 court date.
  • Dean Andrew Blume, 49, of the 600 block of Pleasant Avenue in Highland Park, is accused of improper lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol after being arrested at 12:41 a.m. April 30, near Lake Cook Road and CCH Drive. He was released and assigned a May 28 court date.
