Music About Deerfield To Premier Soon

American Fantasie, a piece of band music about Deerfield personifying the nation is being written by composer Randy Navarre and will premier with a performance by the Deerfield Community Concert Band at 2 p.m. on May 3 at the Patty Turner Center, according to the Deerfield Review.

“The concert will feature the new piece — which is already being rehearsed by the band — and other music from its traditional repertoire, according to director Art Hildebrand.,” according to the Review.
