North Suburban Schools Receive Grants For Library Books, Material
8 local schools received grants from the states to expand library services.

DEERFIELD, IL — Eight area school districts were awarded library grants from the Illinois Secretary of State's School District Library Grant Program this year.
More than $12,800 will be awarded to the districts to purchase library books and materials for students in public schools.
“The more we can incentivize reading and improved comprehension skills in our students, the more well-balanced and prepared they will be as they progress into college and the workplace,” State Senator Julie Morrison (D-Deerfield) said in a news release announcing which schools will be receiving money.
