Northbrook, IL: September 2024 – The North Suburban YMCA hosted its 7th annual Seniorpalooza, a health and fun fair for older adults, on Wednesday, September 18. With over 80+ guests in attendance, the presentation included both a video portion and a Q & A. Presentations like this one, are part of the YMCA Education Series (Y.E.S.) which is a series of free presentations by local professionals covering topics related to physical, mental, and social health and well-being. The presentations are also recorded as podcasts and made available on the NSYMCA YouTube Platform. You can find the list of YES presentations available free to the community by CLICKING HERE
“Now in our 7th year, Seniorpalooza continues to get better and better with more vendors each year and we are so proud of it,” exclaims Kathy Fielding, CEO at the NSYMCA. “Seniors comprise 20% of the Y’s membership, so free events like SeniorPalooza are so important to our community. Our mission for events like this one helps bring our community together for the purpose of education, free screenings, healthy living tips and much more,” continues Fielding.
