Numerous DUI Busts Made Along Portwine, Lake Cook Roads: Blotter

RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Danielle L. Bastian, 48, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested at 4:21 p.m. Dec. 25. She was taken to Lake County Jail pending bond hearing.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Steven Michael Higgins, 62, of the 9000 block of Mansfield Avenue, Morton Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, driving while license revoked, operation of an uninsured vehicle, and was arrested at 1:12 a.m. Dec. 15, when police found his stopped vehicle near the 600 block of Portwine Road. He was released on a $3,000 bond and assigned a court date of Jan. 19.
• Timothy Marcell Tiggens, 41, of the 800 block of Waukegan Road, Deerfield, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, driving while license suspended, and was arrested at 1:18 a.m. Dec. 18, after police found a car stopped near Milwaukee Avenue and Chicory Lane. He was released on a $3,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Jan. 19.
• Damaine K. Fulton, 34, of the 4100 block of S. Drexel Boulevard, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, and was arrested at 3:08 a.m. Dec. 19, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released on a $3,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Jan. 19.
• Merrick Adam Pollack, 43, of Fern Court, Lake Zurich, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 2:21 a.m. Dec. 12, at Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released on a $3,000 bond and assigned a court date of Jan. 12.
• Katarzyna Materniak, 32, of the 500 block of Fairway View Drive, Wheeling, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, and was arrested at 4:11 a.m. Dec. 5, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. She was released after posting a $3,000 bond and assigned a court date of Jan. 12.
• Einar Haro, 26, of the 2200 block of Horeb Avenue, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, expired registration, and was arrested at 2:06 a.m. Dec. 6, at Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released after posting a $3,000 bond and assigned a court date of Jan. 12.
• Luis Z. Cruz, 22, of the 300 block of Delaware Street, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, and was arrested at 3:08 a.m. Nov. 21, near Lake Cook Road and CCH Drive. He was released after posting a $3,000 bond ad was assigned a court date of Dec. 22.
• Seth Evan Frankenthal, 34, of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, turn signal violation, and was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 22, near Saunders Road and West Course Drive. He was released after posting a $3,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Dec. 22.
• Michael Francis Stott, 32 of the 1500 block of Wolf Road Prospect Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, expired registration, and was arrested at 10:38 p.m. Nov. 12, at Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released after posting a $3,000 bond and assigned a court date of Dec. 15.
• Nadia Klimashevski, 40, of the 1100 block of Garfield Avenue, Libertyville, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested at 1:38 a.m. Nov. 15, at Riverwoods Road and Duffy Lane. She was released after posting a $3,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Dec. 15.
