Orphans of the Storm announces exciting summer event calendar
Dog Lovers: Plan to join us for our Run with the Big Dogs Playgroup, 24-Hour Micro-Chip Clinic Ask the Trainer, and Big Ambassador Dog Week

To rally support for large breed canines across the region, Orphans of the Storm (OOTS), in collaboration with its newly formed partnership with the Chicagoland Humane Coalition https://chicagolandhumane.org will be hosting community engagement events this summer.
“The events will start our Summer Break- Big Dog Foster Event! All month long, we are looking for temporary fosters for our dogs 40+ lbs! With this event, there’s no long-term commitment at all! You can foster for a weekend or even one night! Plus, we provide all the supplies, and snuggles are free!” said Sandy De Lisle, Head of Development and Community Engagement, OOTS.
“When you foster,” De Lisle added, “not only do you give a dog a much-needed break from the shelter, you also provide us with some great information about them in a home!”
