Person Struck by Amtrak Train in Deerfield
Tuesday afternoon incident occurred just north of the Deerfield station.
A pedestrian was struck by a Milwaukee-to-Chicago Amtrak train shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon north of the Deerfield station.
None of the 69 passengers on board Train 336, nor any crew members were injured, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The train remains delayed at the station as of 4 p.m.
Metra Milwaukee District/North Line trains are on the move again, but are running between 15-45 minutes behind schedule.
