Pre-Audition Dance Workshops for "Mary Poppins" a Deerfield Family Theater production

A free pre-audition dance workshop for the November performance of Mary Poppins will be held on Thursday, June 11 and Saturday, June 13 at Jewett Park Community Center, 836 Jewett Park Drive, Deerfield. To accommodate schedules and group size, four dance workshops will be held. On Thursday, choose a time slot of either 7-8 pm or 8:15-9:15 pm and on Saturday time slots are available from 1-2 pm and from 2:15- 3:15 pm. The same routine will be learned at all workshops. Dance workshop age (and future casting) is available for 4th grade through adult performers.

Deerfield Family Theater is a sponsored program of the Deerfield Park District and welcomes participation from Deerfield residents and residents from surrounding communities as well. Prior theater experience is not necessary. This workshop is a great opportunity for those who have not auditioned for a show in the past to learn about what to expect at the auditions held in August.
