Record Crowd Enjoys Annual "Party at the Y" Summer Celebration

Free food, games, and fun attract hundreds to North Suburban YMCA Community Event.

The North Suburban YMCA welcomed over 650 guests to its annual "Party at the Y" summer celebration on August 17, a record crowd for this fun-filled community tradition. This year's event featured numerous local restaurants and businesses offering free food, promotions, and prizes. Children enjoyed bounce houses, face painting, art activities, and fire truck tours conducted by the Northbrook Fire Department. State Senator Julie Morrison joined in the celebration, greeting constituents and helping pass out water bottles.

Event sponsors included Roti’s Modern Mediterranean, Lou Malnati’s, Meatheads, Pinstripes, Maggiano’s of Old Orchard, Subway of Glenview, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Go Go Squeeze, Real Urban Barbeque, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dairy Queen of Northbrook, Waterway Carwash, 22nd Century Media, Chiro One Wellness Centers, Teddie Kossof Salon, First Bank of Highland Park, Tutor Doctor, Northwestern Medicine, and By Your Side Autism Therapy Services.
