Residents Thank Frontline Workers With Green Ribbons [Video]

Residents of Deerfield are thanking local health care workers, police and fire departments for their work during the coronavirus pandemic.

DEERFIELD, IL — Residents of Deerfield are making sure to show their gratitude for frontline health care workers by hanging green "thank you" ribbons on trees around town. Pollack Photography is sharing a video with local hospitals, fire and police departments that captures the effort as part of the Gratitude Everywhere project.

Sally and Richard Schulman, of Deerfield, shared the video, shot by their daughter, Laura Pollack, with Patch.

"We thought, in some small way, this will add to the strength they need to carry us through this crisis," Sally Schulman said. "The response has been wonderful."
