Schneider to Start Comeback Campaign Thursday
The former congressman seeks to unseat Robert Dold. Will first have to face Highland Park Mayor in primary.

Former Rep. Brad Schneider, D-Deerfield, will kick off his campaign to return to the Illinois 10th Congressional seat on Thursday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Schneider held the post for one-term, being elected over Republican Robert Dold in 2012. He then lost a rematch in 2014.
Among Schneider’s backers, according to the Sun-Times, are Jan Schakowski, Tammy Duckworth and Bill Foster.
