Service Call Turns To Weapon, Drug Bust For Man With Warrant: Riverwoods PD Blotter

RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Rommel I. Gabrina, 52, of the 5400 block of N. Central Avenue, Chicago, is accused of speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 12:34 a.m. April 5, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of April 23.
• Augusto C. Blanco-Tellez, 44, of the 400 block of Inland Drive, Wheeling, is accused of improper lane usage, speeding, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 12:52 a.m. March 26, near Deerfield and Portwine roads. He was released and assigned a court date of April 23.
• Clay Chandler Miller, 28, of the 200 block of Winfield Court, Vernon Hills, is accused of speeding, improper lane usage, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 1:37 a.m. March 28, near Milwaukee Avenue and Chicory Lane. He was released and assigned a court date of April 23.
• Sandra E. Munoz Valdez, 41, of the 300 block of Ridge Road, Wilmette, is accused of speeding, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 2:19 a.m. March 29, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. She was released and assigned a court date of April 23.

AGGRAVATED UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON

Raymond T. Graham, 26, of the 900 block of Chestnut Street, Waukegan, is accused of two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested at 7:26 p.m. March 29, in the 600 block of Thornmeadow Road. Police had been dispatched for a call of service, and during the subsequent investigation, it was discovered that Graham had an active warrant out of Lake County. During his arrest on the new charges, police were able to positively identify Graham by
fingerprints and he was taken to the Lake County Jail.
