Several DUI Busts Made Near Portwine: Riverwoods PD Blotter
Each driver was charged with multiple crimes during traffic stops, according to police.
RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

- Patrick R. McFarlane, 36, of the 1100 block of Hazel Avenue, Deerfield, is accused of speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 29, near the 1000 block of Saunders Road. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 25.
- Nitin Thomas, 25, of the 8900 block of Major Avenue, Morton Grove, is accused of speeding, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 2:32 a.m. Sept. 30, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. A court date of Oct. 25 was assigned.
- Arielle S. Ilme, 33, of the 200 block of Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, is accused of speeding, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 1:12 a.m. Oct. 2, near Lake Cook and CCH Drive. A court date of Nov. 11 was assigned.
- Jonathan L. Schlapper, 23, of the 1300 block of Johnson Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of improper lane usage, expired registration, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 1:18 a.m. Sept. 24, near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. A court date of Oct. 18 was assigned.
