Sex Offender Fails To Register: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

ARRESTS

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Jordan A. Kazik, 25, of the 1500 block of Greystone Drive, Gurnee, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Jan. 16 at Route 45 and Gages Lake Road, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date was to be determined at the time of the report.
• Ira J. Williams, 32, of the 4000 block of Ridge Road, Zion, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Jan. 20 in the 4200 block of Route 83, Long Grove. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of March 8 was assigned.
• Dylan M. Beshel, 31, of the 38100 block of N. North Shore, Beach Park, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving while license revoked, leaving the scene of an accident, no insurance, and was arrested Jan. 20 in the 38400 block of N. North Shore Avenue, Beach Park. He also had a warrant for driving under the influence. Bond was set at $250,000 and a court date of Jan. 25 was assigned.
• Joshua K. Francia, 28, of the 3200 block of Wembley Drive, Zion, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Jan. 21 at Sheridan Road and Howard Street, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 15 was assigned.
• Amanda S. McKimmy 34, of the 40200 lbock of Route 45, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested Jan. 21 at Grass Lake and Bluff roads, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of March 1 was assigned.
• Vincent R. Coleman, 18, of the 300 block of Donin Drive, Antioch, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper transportation of cannabis, no insurance, and was arrested Jan. 21 at Routes 59 and 173, Antioch. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of March 1 was assigned.
• Lucia Vazquez-Cordada, 33, of the 2800 block of Butrick Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Jan. 21 at Sheridan Road and Greenwood Avenue, Waukegan. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of March 22 was assigned.
• Mirek Koperski, 50, of the 100 block of N. Shore Drive, Mundelein, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Jan. 22 in the 35200 block of N. Route 45, unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Feb. 22 was assigned.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

• Ybis G. Diego, 27, of the 700 block of Lenox Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of no driver's license, no valid registration, and was arrested Jan. 16 at Sheridan Road and Stanley Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Aurimas Stongvaltas, 34, of Sunny Isles, Florida, is accused of operating a commercial vehicle without a commercial driver's license, operating a commercial vehicle while using a cellular phone, and was arrested Jan. 18, at Route 12 and Miller Road, North Barrington. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Aubrey Butler, 56, of the 3400 block of Sheridan Road, Zion, is accused of no driver's license, suspended registration, and was arrested Jan. 19 at Lewis Avenue and York House Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Yovani Sanchez, 36, of the 0-100 block of Lincoln Avenue, Round Lake, is accused of no driver's license, suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested Jan. 20 at Route 12 and Plum Grove Road, unincorporated Palatine. Bond was set at $2,000.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Jason L. Linkous, 44, of the 37900 block of N. Manor Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Jan. 16 in the 37900 block of N. Manor Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $250,000 and a court date of Jan. 26 was assigned.

• Dominic X. Barnes, 21, no permanent address, had a warrant out of Kendall County for domestic battery, and was arrested Jan. 19 in the 39100 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $7,500 and a future court date in Kendall County was to be determined at the time of the report.

BATTERY

• Deonte R. Gregory, 21, of the 500 block of N. Sheridan Road, Waukegan, is accused of battery, and was arrested Jan. 17 at Lake County Jail. He was already being held on other charges, so there was no bond, and a court date of Jan. 26 was assigned.
• Kendrick Alverson, 20, of the 1200 block of Evergreen Circle, Chicago, is accused of batter, and was arrested Jan. 17 at Lake County Jail. He was already being held on other charges, so there was no bond, a court date of Jan. 30 was assigned.
• Daniel A. Colon, 29, of the 1800 block of Grand Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant for battery, and was arrested Jan. 17 in the 39000 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Feb. 9 was assigned.
• Demarcus K. Griffin, 23, of the 2800 block of Elizabeth Avenue, Zion, is accused of battery, and was arrested Jan. 18 at Lake County Jail. There was no bond as he was being held on other charges and a court date of Feb. 10 was assigned.
• Tyshawn J. Pickett, 24, of the 300 block of Birchwood Drive, Antioch, is accused of battery, and was arrested Jan. 18 at Lake County Jail. There was no bond as he was being held on other charges and a court date was to be determined at the time of the report.
• Nariah P. McKnight, 24, of the 4100 block of Bitternut Lane, Gurnee, had a warrant for battery, and was arrested Jan. 19 in the 4100 block of Bitternut Lane, Gurnee. Bond was set at $30,000 and a court date of Feb. 2 was assigned.
• Jayson P. Souza-Temaner, 44, of the 36600 block of N. Traer Terrace, unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of battery, and was arrested Jan. 20 in the 36600 block of N. Traer Terrace, unincorporated Gurnee. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Feb. 22 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Oscar Rodriguez-Luna, 27, of the 500 block of Morningside Drive, Round Lake Beach, had a warrant for violation of an order of protection, and was arrested Jan. 17 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $60,000 and a court date of Jan. 24 was assigned.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Dawna M. Sawyers, 54, of the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Jan. 17 in the 39000 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of March 1 was assigned.

SPEEDING

• Anthony W. Bridges, 64, of the 1800 block of N. Delany Road, Gurnee, is accused of aggravated speeding (90 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested Jan. 17 at Delany and Wadsworth roads, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Brittney C. Jones, 27, of the 7600 block of Adams Street, Forest Park, is accused of aggravated speeding (73 mph in a 40 mph zone), and was arrested Jan. 20 at Quentin and Long Grove roads, Deer Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Ana Y. Martinez-Leon, 24, of the 17800 block of W. Cheyenne Court, unincorporated Grayslake, had a warrant for driving while license suspended, leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested Jan. 18 in the 17800 block of W. Cheyenne Court, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Jan. 31 was assigned.
• Enrique R. Alfaro, 61, of the 12300 block of W. Yorkhouse Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for driving while license revoked, and was arrested Jan. 21 in the 12300 block of W. Yorkhouse Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of Feb. 10 was assigned.

VIOLATING BOND

James Nolting, 58, of the 1100 block of N. Division Street, Harvard, had a warrant out of McHenry County for violating bond, and was arrested Jan. 20 at Hunt Club Road and Stearns School Road, Old Mill Creek. There was no bond in the case and a future court date in McHenry County was to be determined at the time of the report.

FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEXUAL OFFENDER

Thomas K. Barr, 52, of the 39000 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of failure to register as a sex offender, and was arrested Jan. 22 in the 39000 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Feb. 15 was assigned.
