Sweet Time Cafe Celebrates the Class of 2020
Local seniors are invited to a "Graduate Goody Bag Drive-By" to receive sweets and sweet offers from local businesses.
Sisters Jane Zimbler and Sari Zimbler Smith, owners of Sweet Time Cafe, will be celebrating the class of 2020 by hosting a “Graduate Goody Bag Drive-By” on Sunday, June 7th from 11 am to 2 pm in the parking lot outside of their Northfield restaurant/bakery.
Graduating seniors from local high schools (including, but not limited to, Deerfield, Evanston Township, Glenbrook North, Glenbrook South, Highland Park and New Trier) are invited to drive-by and pick up a goody bag filled with Sweet Time’s home-made cookies, along with special offers and discounts from other local businesses.
“These last few months have been incredibly difficult for students, especially seniors, who were looking forward to prom, graduation and other activities planned especially for them,” said Sari. “This was certainly not the way any of them would have expected their last weeks of high school to end.”

“We know they are disappointed, and rightly so,” added Jane, “We hope that our goody-bag drive-by brings a smile to their faces and lets them know how very proud we are of their accomplishments,” she continued. “We’re looking forward to congratulating them in person on Sunday, June 7th.”
In addition to a variety of Sweet Time’s most popular home-made cookies, the goody bags will also include offers from other local businesses that wanted to join Sari and Jane in honoring the class of 2020 including:

Important Event Details:
Date: Sunday, June 7th
Time: 11 am to 2 pm (while supplies last)
Place: Northfield Plaza Parking Lot - 570 W. Frontage Road (North of Willow and South of Tower)
Volunteers and signage will direct the traffic flow. All seniors attending the drive-by should show their school ID (wearing of caps and gowns are welcome!). All attendees must remain in their car during the drive-by and they must be wearing a mask while receiving the goody bag. Goody bags will be handed to them through the car window. Congratulations to the class of 2020!
