Traffic Charges Lead To Warrant Arrests For Duo: Blotter
In separate incidents, people were stopped for traffic violations and then were found to have warrants: Riverwoods Blotter.
RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.
Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

- Angelo S. Morris, 32, of the 38100 block of Loyola Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of driving while license suspended, improper lane usage, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 9:26 p.m. Dec. 31 near Lake Cook and Portwine roads. He was also served with an active Lake County warrant for enhanced retail theft. He was released on a $2,500 personal recognizance bond for the traffic offenses and is scheduled to appear in Mundelein court on Feb. 3. Being unable to post the required bond for the enhanced retail theft warrant, he was transported to the Lake County Jail for a future bond hearing.
- Chantel A. Cherry, 21, of the 4200 block of White Pine Lane, Zion, is accused of driving while license revoked, speeding, and was arrested at 10:03 p.m. Dec. 18 near Milwaukee Avenue and Chicory Lane. She was also served with an active Lake County failure to appear warrant for retail theft. Cherry was released on a $2,500 personal recognizance bond for the traffic offenses and is scheduled to appear in Mundelein court on Feb. 3. She posted the required 10 percent of the $35,000 bond for the retail theft warrant, plus a $75 failure to appear court fee and was released with a scheduled court date of Jan. 6 in Waukegan court.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
- Frank I. Marquez, 26, of the 2700 block of N Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, and was arrested at 1:06 a.m. Jan. 1. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Waukegan court on Jan. 27.
- Henry Kamran Hashemi, 18, of he 2500 block of Shenandoah Lane, Long Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, speeding, and was arrested at 11:18 p.m. Dec. 19 near Milwaukee Avenue and Chicory Lane. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in Waukegan court on Jan. 27.
