Trax Closes in Deerfield
The popular Deerfield Road meeting place will be replaced with another sports bar. The Warehouse plans a March opening at the same spot.

DEERFIELD, IL - The final day for Trax Tavern & Grill in Deerfield came earlier this month, but the location will be replaced with a similar type of business.
Trax was a popular meeting place in Deerfield for 15 years until its final day on Dec. 15, according to the Deerfield Review. It will be replaced with another sports bar, The Warehouse.
The Warehouse plans to open at 833 Deerfield Road in March and will be managed in part by Robby Cohn, who has been a manager at Trax for the past several years.

While many fans of the meeting spot are glad to see Cohn on board for the new endeavor, they expressed sadness when talking to the Review about the end of the Trax era.
"It's sad," Terry Hanusa of Highland Park said. "This is a much beloved place. We come here at least once a week.”
