Unused Electronics Support Active Duty Military and Veterans

Those smart phones, tablets, gaming consoles, cameras and hand-held devices that have been laying around your house and collecting dust can be turned into cash to support the brave Illinois men and women, both active duty and veterans, who defend our country in the armed forces.

Support Our Soldiers Freedom, Inc., a nonprofit organization, has partnered with ReUp Fundraising to recycle, refurbish and resell electronic devices. Proceeds help with expenses not covered by military benefits such as bills, homelessness, housing modifications, counseling, transportation, household and auto repairs, medications and more.

Donations can be dropped off at Essence Pilates, 849 Waukegan Rd., Deerfield, Ill., or they can be shipped for free when you create an online account with ReUp at https://sosfreedom.reupfundraising.com/user/signin.
