Will Deerfield Native Find True Love in Latest Episode of TV Dating Show?

Entrepreneur and Deerfield native Ben Rosenfield will take the next step on his path to finding true love—or the truest love one can find on a TV dating show—on Tuesday night's episode of Coupled.

The concept behind the Fox reality series goes like this: 12 single women have been invited to a Caribbean island, where they're introduced to different single men who they decide to spend time with after a brief introduction (the choice is done Tinder-style, exiting right—a la right-swiping on the dating app—to a Tiki bar to spend more time with the guy). Eventually, the women are coupled up—title justification!—and viewers watch to see if love develops.

During his introductory episode last week, Rosenfield, 36, spent time with two suitors: Alex, 23, a self-described conservative, and Michelle, 28, an Israeli-Italian single mom with a 2-year-old son. While Rosenfield got along well enough with both women, his views did clash quite a bit with Alex's beliefs.

Ultimately, Rosenfield chose Michelle to continue to spend more time together, and Tuesday's episode promises to show how the two get along during their one-on-one time.

Coupled isn't the only place you can catch up with Rosenfield, who has founded the companies that developed the apps Hero and Freebie. He posts regular updates about his appearances on the series and in other media outlets on his Twitter, Facebook and other social media accounts.

In fact, he recently shared in his Instagram feed a humorously awkward meeting with comedian Martin Lawrence:

ME: I grew up watching you every night, you were a big part of my childhood.

MARTIN: Oh thank you, much love.

ME: Yea, I loved you on "In Living Color"!........ MARTIN: Seriously, man....? I'm Martin, on Martin.

ME: Oh sh--, I'm sorry... I loved Martin too hahaha
