Woman Charged After Failed Written Driver's License Test: Cops
The 60-year-old Glenview woman allegedly punched the government worker in the stomach at the Deerfield facility.

A 60-year-old Glenview woman was charged last week after an incident in which she allegedly punched an employee of the Secretary of State driver’s license facility in Deerfield in the stomach following a failed written test.
Adriana Apostolascu, of the 800 block of Juniper Road, was charged with aggravated battery in a public place of accommodations and disorderly conduct on Nov. 24, according to the Deerfield Review.
Employees at the facility at 405 Lake Cook Road told police Apostolascu became upset after being told she had failed the written test and demanded to see the results. After she was told she wasn’t allowed to see the results but could take the test the following day, she was seen taking photos of employees. When told by a female employee she wasn’t allowed to do that and got in her way, Apostolascu appeared to punch her in the stomach on a videotape later turned over to police.
