MAINE TOWNSHIP, IL — A 71-year-old man reported missing from unincorporated Maine Township has been located safe, the Cook County Sheriff's Office confirmed Monday.
Stanley Hicks had last been seen the morning of Oct. 15 in the 9700 block of Dee Road. Authorities sought the public's help finding him in a release issued Friday.
Hicks was known to frequent Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood, where sheriff's police had searched as part of their efforts to locate him.
The sheriff's office did not provide additional details about when or where Hicks was found.
