Learn how to make comics from "Smile" author Raina Telgemeier

Kid in grades 6 – 12: Raina Telgemeier, author and illustrator of the award-winning book "Smile" wants to teach you how to make comics! This free Des Plaines Public Library sponsored workshop will take place on Thursday, March 22 from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. at the Library Media Center at Algonquin Middle School.

At the program Raina will talk about making comics and writing stories. Then get a chance to get started on making your own comics! Bonus! Everyone at the program will get a free copy of "Smile." Raina will sign your copy after the program.
